I loved this movie, I honestly laughed a bunch at stupid stuff but still experienced lots of tension/suspense throughout the movie and it reminded me of the original films. I’ve been reading a lot of the poorer reviews and consistently they usually say that it’s “too chaotic” or it’s “too gory”, and it makes me question if they ever watched the original films, because those are the two things that make up the Evil Dead series. Compared to other recent horror movies, this one did amazing.
