Deary me! Having just finished the book I was so excited about this but what a disappointment.
Basically they took elements from the book, threw in some drugs and violence, changed some fundamental parts of the storyline and lost the whole moral of the story.
I’m going to rewatch the 2011 version to console myself. Good acting though. 😂
