Mark, you may have known James Humes, he wrote for 5 presidents, all Republicans starting with Eisenhower. Was not surprised by Harvard, MIT and especially Penn's president. Here's a conversation with my friend James C. Humes of a few years ago: Last time I talked with Jamie he was teaching in Colorado Springs. I asked why not at Penn, your alma mater? He said, "Charlie, Penn would never hire me, I'm a conservative." What a stupid reason. Sorry, Penn you missed a brilliant professor. Perhaps if he were Jewish, consideration would have been given ... Right! At least thanks that one not so bright administrator is gone, sure there are a few more out there including the two braindead who were sitting next to Ms. Magill.
