A dark and twisted story of the Wild West Jane Campion at her best yet again in this body of work. Cumberbatch portraying a rancher with a twisted dark secret Dunst portrays the widowed mother out in the emptiness of a fledgling Montana is a good portrayal of a middle aged woman who’s prospects for that day and age had little choice. They young son, coming over as vulnerable to be protected, yet watch on and hold on for this ride as they t takes you to an unexpected turn in the trail of this New Zealand shot western. Well done
