This movie has been vastly underrated.
I recommend it to all fans of David Lynch and Spike Jonze.
The plot is surreal. The soundtrack - by the same artist who scored POOR THINGS (Jerskin Fendrix)- is superlative. The track in the end credits is beautiful and self-referential and reminiscent of Tom Waits. I haven't heard a better soundtrack. The three story lines are connected in many unexpected ways.
It was the best movie I've seen this year, at least I saw it 24 hours ago. It might be the best movie I ever saw, but it is too soon to say.

It was a disjointed, beautiful, mess. At times, I struggled to stay awake. The plot was extremely convoluted.
It was visually stunning.
I'm glad the brilliant old man got to share his dream.
The soundtrack was good. The dialogue was bad.
