Writers strike gets no sympathy from me for what was brought to us via Dead City. They’ve ruined the story end for TWD by bringing an unnecessary battle in Dead City. Maggie is annoying and she clearly can’t get over anything in her life which explains why her son hates her. Get in line kid, we all do. Negan keeps the show afloat but they are destroying his character slowly. Then they bring in the nasty lady from Ozark and I threw up when I saw her from past trauma in that show. Anyway, they tried, they failed, and I’m nervous for the Daryl spin-off as well as Rick and Michone. So much opportunity to make these great, specifically via reconnection, but I have serious doubts in the ability of the writers.
