As always the cinematography, pictures, customer, set is epic and a consistent indulgence to follow but the story line wasnโt as clever as usual, the backbone was clear with the father daughter relationship with the option to delve fully into the hilarious ironic comedy with the story line of capitalist, communist and Nun, it just wasnโt written to be which I thought was a missed opportunity to please the Wes Anderson base, instead all irony (except a few glimpses of the old) was kept for the storyline, meaning itโs less ironic comedy and ironic warmth and growth entirely. That famous ironic humour wasnโt allowed to bring these 3 perfect ideologies together hilariously. The action type camera work worked well on the whole. It was a great film but not by WAโs standard would this be a great.
