After watching this movie, I quickly came here and read some of the comments and I’m not surprised. The movie is made exactly for people who rated the movie 1-3/5. First, some of the comments are saying that they based it mostly on race, which shows how uncomfortable it makes you feel when it comes to talking about race and the past that ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Second, the acting. Yes, it could be improved but I don’t think the action or the video editing was the point. It’s about the message that the movie is conveying. Third, comedians are not limited to making comedic punchlines or funny movies/clips. We sometimes forget that comedians are entitled to their own opinions as well and now they are trying to make a statement through making films far from the genre they’re known for. Lastly, I read someone’s comment under this and it said something about “it made Caucasian people be the bad guy all the time.” I’m sorry not sorry, but when was it ever written in history that a Caucasian person left a legacy without a trace of racism?
Other than that, the movie was great. Loved Jonah and how he was portrayed as a sneaker head.
