This movie seriously lacked direction. Jane as another Thor, just no. I was iffy about her in the other movies but she was alright overall, this one was just a big no for me with Jane. Very poor acting from her in this one in my opinion. Russell Crowe as Zeus did not impress me at all. Zeus came across as a complete tool in this movie and not so much a powerful deity in any sense of the word. Crowe too has proven he has amazing talent as an actor in other roles but here, no.
Also, why King Valkyrie and not Queen Valkyrie? Korg getting a boyfriend at the end? To be clear, I have zero issues with the whole LGBQT thing and frankly don't care who is dating or screwing who so long as everyone's consenting. However, this whole woke bandwagon Marvel is jumping on is cringeworthy. We don't need this thrown in our faces everywhere we go and everything we watch. Having Loki be bisexual on top of other things like seen in this movie is just absurd (he maybe a shape-shifter in mythology but he does have a wife in mythology and in some comics, which Marvel isn't acknowledging for some reason).
Pretty graphics in this movie, along with Matt Damon's cameo as the Loki play actor and Christian Bale are probably the only good things I saw in this movie. I loved the other Thor movies but good grief, I couldn't get into this one to save a life. I can enjoy watching other Marvel movies multiple times and still enjoy them just as much every time, this is on my not watching again list.
