Will Farrows

I love this movie. It is a refreshing reset in the psychological thriller/horror genre. The storyline is engaging and the "startles" quick and wittingly placed. Each character adds tastefully to the plot in a convincing and intriguing way. I'll be re-watching this one occasionally!

This movie is a large chub of cheese, NOT Velveeta even .. but a knock off brand! The generous two stars is because do like Wahlberg, Berry and Simmons. That said, it's more out of respect for some of their former performances because there's nothing shining in this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. There were certainly no Oscar worthy performances but the characters held their own very well. It was meant to tell an authentic story which I think it did very well. Excellent depiction of transition from old school club into modern gang. I'll re-watch it occasionally as I really liked the story and appreciate the direction and genuine grit the film portrays.

I give it a 2 for the cinematography and SOME creative slash. Otherwise it is drawn out, predictable, boring with no opportunity for any engaging acting performances or dialog. I'll never set through it again.

Read the review by Gray Thurman, I couldn't say it any better. A bit of cheese plot wise, but it's still a must see. My love for the main characters (Emily Blunt, Ryan Gosling and Hannah Waddingham) have me hooked with their stellar performances, not to mention the great minor cast roles ... and YES the original fall guy LEE MAJORS is in scenes! Nothing but love for this one!

I'm not much on rom-coms, but I very much enjoyed this one. Forever a fan of Brooke Sheids as well as Ben Bratt, I found this a very fun ride. The plot was somewhat predictable, but the character performance was not at all subpar. I found it delightful, charming and somewhat nostalgic.

I watched out of eye candy mode .. still pretty (not) mundane 👎

I found it hard to follow with lackluster direction. I had high expectations for a star studded cast, but left dissatisfied.
