I loved the story; however, I cringed every time "myself" was used instead of "me", which was very frequently. That Lawhon's editor doesn't know the difference is baffling. It's quite simple to test that the correct pronoun is being used. "You and your team are coming with Denden, Hubert, Jacques, and myself to Montlucon." No! "You and your team are coming with [.........] me to Montlucon." By omitting the others, there should be no question as to which pronoun is correct. I hear this mistake all of the time. It's as though people are afraid to say "me."
