The worst game (in terms of user experience) i’ve ever played. The game decides where you pass the ball (even though you may aim it in an opposite direction), it decides your ball control, the games are scripted against the user, the ai defence is either really good or useless, the goalkeeper is either blind or the greatest player of all time, the game is incredibly inconsistent, and the game wants nothing more than the user to lose their game. This is just a short list of the many reasons why this game is 1 star rated. I have been playing Fifa for many years and even though the ai and gameplay technology develops, it really doesn’t. The AI is as clueless as ever, the gameplay is as horrible as ever and if you play the game for long enough, you might just break your controller. Just today, I was playing Pro Clubs with my friends. We needed 2 more points to get promoted (we had 4 games to do so). That should be easy right? WRONG! Even though we had won 2 prior games to these (one of them by 4 goals) the game makes our AI teammates useless. However, to top the cake, we were on our last game of the season and we needed to win to get promoted. with 20 mins lefts we were winning 4-2. The close out in a real game is reasonably simple. However, in EAs and FIFAs bad game, we conceded 2 goals off corners because our players and defenders refused to jump up to contest the headers. This is a prime example of EAs scripted games against the user. This wouldn’t have happened in earlier FIFA, and now i have to play another 10 games just to beat the rigged system. There is a reason FIFA 23 is rated so low, and it’s because the game is simply bad. I have honestly played more fun football games on my phone. I really don’t care about the graphics, or EAs sad attempt at getting player ratings, i just want a good, balanced and fun football game to play with friends. I hope EA SPORTS FC 24 is better than this game otherwise they might just lose over a decade old customer. FIX THE GAME, MAKE IT FUN. ITS REALLY SO SIMPLE.
