The diplomat is a good show with great acting. However, why is a woman diplomat fitting all stereotypes? Women can’t be in a position of power because they are emotional or emotionally unstable, dramatic, throwing tantrums, irritable, moody, blah, blah, blah … The main character can tick all the boxes. Not only that, she also violently attacked her husband, mouthed him off, used him like a tool, and brushed him off once she was done using him. The diplomat could had been so much more, could had given us a strong woman character without the ridiculous stereotypes mixed in. I kept watching it because a love Rufus. He’s an incredible actor and enjoyed watching his performance.
