The worst way to play some of the best horror games ever made So what happened was Konami lost the original code for Silent hill 2 and 3 so they worked with a lot of unfinished material to make this remaster making this in some ways look worse than the original game most notably the absolutely broken fog effect which the silent hill series is so famous for also, the new voice acting just isn't as good intentionally or not the original voice acting in silent hill 2 is perfect and completely fits with the weird utter worldly nature of the game the new cast while decent actors in their own right in being decent end up losing a lot of made that original one special... also do you really wanna hear another white guy voiced by Troy Baker. Personally just avoid this one if you can the pc version with mods that restore the features that the version laked at launch is absolutely the best way to play the game but the ps2 and original Xbox versions are also really good alternatives if you do not like messing around with mods or pc in general. Mind you there is no Silent hill 3 for Xbox It is unfortunate there isn't a more modern console that can play these games since this HD collection is the version you find on ps4/5 through PlayStation now which once again I would not recommend.
