HUUGE HUGE disappointment. Deviates so far from Anne Rice's original book. I was really excited to see this come out as a series but now I wish they had left it alone. The story line and characters have been changed so far as to make the whole thing unrecognizable from Rice's work. I can't see anyways that they could reconcile this first series book with the other 2 that belong in the book series.
