I am re-watching this amazing series. What I love about it is the very real and visceral expression of the beauty and the brutality, the healing and the impediments to healing, and the deep sorrow and joy that are all NOLA. The story and the characters are rich and complicated, as they must be. And music is absolutely transcendental.
