Dare to believe that "realism" doesn't take sides. It's ok if we actually care about each other. Kindness matters. Thank you Rutger for mapping the studies & research and connecting the dots of so many threads I have woven together for decades. I remain astounded that the critics don't see themselves perpetuating Bregmans theses about cynicism and (gasp..shh...) patriarchy.
