Such a great show. I found it on accident browsing Apple. I feel most of their stuff is way too glossy and “perfect”c, high desert was gritty and funny. I don’t feel Apple did a good job marketing it at all, I never saw a single ad for it (and I’m always seeing ads for their shows). I found it randomly and loved it. I heard it was cancelled and I feel like it’s Apple’s fault, they didn’t market it or feature it on the homepage at all. Very sad, great job Patricia Arquette, loved you in this!

What a wild story, part comedy and part tragedy. I was also impressed by beautiful Nava Mau, a great actress and she steals every scene. I really have to applaud this show (and original play) for highlighting taboos in our society. And also for allowing us to see for the first time ever on film - A man going on a trans dating site, and dates with a trans woman. This show also highlights assault and it is a really uncomfortable episode but it sheds light on male assault. Great show all around, thank you Netflix!!

As a fan of the games I will admit that most video game shows fall flat. This was great right from the beginning! My roommate is a tough critic, and he has no knowledge of the games, and we both fell in love from episode 1. Amazon this is your best work ever, quite literally. Great show!! I will say I’ve never seen a show incorporate game canon so easily. It’s clear the writers are fans of the games and took the time to get it right. Awesome job!

As an animal lover and gamer, this game has it all. A wonderful world with creatures aplenty. A creative platform for anyone to enjoy, all ages. For those complaining about animal abuse, a reminder that it's a video game and these creatures don't exist. It's no different from killing monsters in any other video game. Killing or capturing pals is only one part, as you can also raise pals, pet them, spoil them and feed them. Is it animal abuse to kill sheep in minecraft? Absolutely not! And you can actually play this game without killing anything, eating berries, and using pals to enhance your base. But without killing the bosses you won't progress. Anyway, it's a game I love!

I was looking forward to this and I do have an open mind. But sadly it’s like an AI wrote this movie, stealing concepts from every science fiction blockbuster. Everything from Star Wars to Avatar, Dune and even Lord of the Rings. Most of the elements are so slammed together that there is no explanation: A peaceful viking village just a horse ride away from a Japanese city where men grab other men’s crotch and demand a night with them - robots that have honor but are effectively useless and lightsabers that exist merely to look cool - creatures that merely exist to remind us of cooler movies - And huge plot holes from the beginning that made me eye roll way too hard. Notable spoilers: - In an early scene the main character chats with the handsome farmer before bed. She goes to close the curtains WHICH ARE SEE THROUGH. The curtains in this world are basically useless. - The creepy man in the saloon demands a night with the handsome farmer, while somehow completely ignoring gorgeous Charlie Hunnam sitting 5 feet away the whole time. - The spider Queen who is clearly a regular citizen of some kind in distress, says the air is toxic and can’t raise her babies, so rather than bringing her along the adventure TO THE GORGEOUS OPEN WORLD PLANET WITH FRESH AIR, they are like “no we gonna kill you”, despite the fact that she is an incredible warrior.

My roomie and I watched one episode from each season. We had really high hopes, unfortunately each story was more awful from the last. Each episode either had a ridiculous story or an awful payoff, we truly felt like we wasted hours of our life that we will not get back! Now to be honest as a true horror fan I'm not really a fan of Ryan Murphy's content to begin with... I've seen about 7 seasons of AHS and finally by the last season I just couldn't handle how ridiculous it is. It's not scary, or even creepy at this point. It's the kind of horror I think only the most basic gays would find exciting. Disfigured faces, clowns, fashion forward outfits paired with gay undertones and bad acting. And what kills me about AHS is that his tropes are so common, nothing in his work feels like a surprise. 'Stories' fell into the same trap. I get tying AHS to some of the episodes, but AHS had whole seasons girl we do NOT need to keep going back! I have really tried here and there, but I think the only redeeming work of Mr. Murphy at this point is the American Crime story series. I would have said Pose but we all know it was the Billy Porter show, they mislabeled it Pose. lol
