I love Kevin Costner as an actor. He starred in and directed this movie. His acting was great. His direction was terrible. This was the most disjointed film I’ve seen in a long time. My wife agreed, and we were shocked because it had so much potential. The cinematography, landscapes, sets, costumes, and star-studded cast were all great. The storytelling was terrible, with no continuity, context, cohesiveness, or character development. It was really surprising to see things not even come close to coming together, especially for a 3 hour “Chapter One”.
