I've been playing Madden since Madden 14. Madden 24 is easily the worst Madden EA has ever made. Quarterbacks will overthrow the ball under pressure or without it. Receivers will drop the ball that hits them in the hands. The game is so hyper-realistic and it feels like you need to play college football to be any decent at it. I just don't understand what happened to video games feeling like video games. Madden has progressively gotten worse over the years. I don't understand how you make the same game every year, and it somehow has more issues than the year prior. This is especially frustrating when there are no improvements from the previous game. You pay $70 for a roster update and more bugs. This is the first Madden I will stop playing in 10 years. This game has become my annual waste of time. Sales will continue to decline, the product or continue to get worse, and people will continue to make less money. This is not a game that will survive without major improvement. Especially as it becomes more of a luxury good.
