Yes, this movie has beautiful scenes of Hawaii, which is why I sat through the whole thing. And I loved Hearing those few Hawaiian words again. However, the acting was terrible, the plot was ridiculous, and the writers couldn't tell whether it was a comedy or a drama or something else. Personally, I felt the Hawaiian myths they chose to throw in were not appropriate for this movie. They did a poor job of explaining the culture in general. The whole thing was just too superficial and seemed put together like a poorly sewn patchwork quilt.
