Ashley, girl… The thing we were overlooking this whole time???? Why you playing on our top like this😩 Sis, this book took me through all of the emotions. Ethic & Lanika have been through so much. Please let them have their happy ending. I’m a Messiah wife through and through but he has to grown up!! I see the growth tho and I know it’s a process but sheesh. If he can just be honest and tell the WHOLE truth, things would be easier. I love that he is trying to better himself for his family but his childhood trauma is holding him back. I hate that he thinks so little of Morgan that he can’t even tell her the truth. In his head, he thinks he’s protecting her but he’s only hurting her. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been trying to not like (Mac & Cheese) Meek for 4 books. Seeing him and Morgan on these pages made me love him. He’s so patient with her and is always putting her needs first. I love that about him. He really stepping into his Boss era. The whole scene of the fall out from Livi’s text was a mess. Morgan needs to grow tf up. I get it, she’s spoiled & young or whatever y’all be saying but she did entirely too much. I hate that she allows these men to make her feel worthless. I pray she takes the advice Ms. Marilyn gave her. She needs to realize that she is the prize & her self worth isn’t based on how a man makes her feel. With that being said, there is growth there. She’s not letting Messiah or Meek do her any kind of way & she’s standing up for herself. & we love to see it! Side note: I’m sooooo proud of Aria!! She really that girl & I’m so happy she knows her worth.
