Kepler did a great job creating a thrilling and suspenseful story. This was an excellent tale of a detective Joona Linna working hard to solve the mystery of where the Antagonist Jurik Walter was hiding and where he will strike next. One critique I had for this novel was the fact that it took about half of the entire book for the story to start to pick up and get thrilling. The beginning of the story was far from a waste though. Both major and minor characters received unique backstories and had interesting personalities. Kepler also did a great job foreshadowing in the beginning of this book which hints at some of the major twists and climaxes to the story. There was no mystery of who the antagonist was but instead what would the antagonist do next. The intense build up that Kepler is able to create led to the insane climax which made me finish the 2nd half of the book in one weekend. Truly a suspenseful finish to the book with interesting twists and a unlikely ending.
