This show is just the right mix of light hearted and emotional. Writing this review only halfway through the show but it has not disappointed once so far. There are multiple sub plots contributing to the main, and whilst handling some really heavy topics the show incorporates some genuinely hilarious snippets in between. The characters are all lovable in their own way. So far I am truly enjoying the way in which it handles injustice. There is a twinge of realism to every k-drama trope they've used and that is some clever script writing. If you are on the search for something that tugs at your heart strings, makes you laugh, and gives you a message to take away whilst along being an enjoyable watch? This is your show.

As someone who was quite heartbroken after the ending the two had in Goblin, this was perfect for me. It was outside my usual taste in dramas as it is purely a light-hearted romantic kind of thing, but I was pleasantly surprised at how the plot flowed. The way it touched upon heavier topics in a much lighter manner was something I thoroughly enjoyed watching There was no overly exaggerated acting or various angles for a very small scene, but rather, a well-paced relationship between the two with a lot of cute scenes that had me squealing. I would have preferred if certain side plots were given more attention but I assume it wouldn't have fit the style of the rest of the drama. I'd say go for it if you are in desperate need for our sunny and grim reaper to have their happy ending, and also for a good laugh since it had just the right amount of humor. Feeling quite empty after finishing it but more than happy with how it ended :)
