I’m genuinely baffled by how this show has received such a high rating. It feels like many of those 5-star reviews are either fake, paid for, or both. The concept had potential, but they completely ruined it.
Lack of Communication: None of the characters communicate with each other, and it's infuriating. So many issues could be resolved if anyone actually shared what was happening during their explorations.
Unrealistic Crisis Reactions: The way the characters behave in a crisis is beyond frustrating. There's not a single character I can root for. Jim, in particular, is careless and irresponsible, leading to countless unnecessary deaths. They venture out without food, shelter, or any sense of self-preservation. It’s absurd that they ignore major dangers, and the fact that a wedding takes place while people are literally dying nearby is just ridiculous. There's no grief, remorse, or any emotion that resembles real human reactions.
Flat Characters: Every character feels the same, as if they’re being directed to act in a robotic, uniform way. There’s no depth, no individuality, no personalities that stand out.
Unnecessary Filler: Whenever something terrible happens, the characters prioritize giving long, pointless pep talks rather than actually helping those in danger. It’s all filler with no substance.
While the first season showed some promise, the second season is a chaotic mess. Ideas are thrown around and abandoned, resulting in predictable, inconsistent storytelling with bad cliffhangers.
I regret wasting my time and views on this show.
