I was so excited to see this movie, and so disappointed upon watching it in the theater. All the performers are giving great performances. Absolutely beautiful cinematography. Sloppy character development, the sound design lacks so much. It’s all ADR. So distancing. And the pacing is so off. I wanted to love this. I wanted it to be an epic. But it just…. drags.
