Listening to this story as an audio book enhanced the horror for me. Ackroyd is a writer gifted with dark mind that skillfully and subtlety brings out the disturbing fears within. It was a pleasure to hear the the writer’s words delivered by an absolute talented actor-I think there’s nothing quite like being read to.
