Overall it’s a pretty great album, lots of good songs some interesting guest musicians it’s my favourite of his solo records. Anyone who’s getting into Thunders and has LAMF already might wanna give this a go. Leave Me Alone, Dead Or Alive, Downtown, London Boys….lotsa great tunes. Check it out.

One of my favourite Zappa live albums. Recorded while his old buddy Captain Beefheart was in the band, this is an amazing album chock full of Zappa classics. Debra Kadabra, Advance Romance, Carolina Hardcore Ecstasy, 200 Years Old, Muffin Man. With bits of Beefheart’s oddball beat poetry (ie. Sam With The Showing Scalp Flat Top), this album’s a winner from front to back. I can only hope there’ll be a heavily expanded 50th anniversary edition next year.
