While I think the dialogue is well written and I love the many strong female characters of diverse ethnic backgrounds, I find there is no balance with respect to the myriad social & political issues. If you lean left, this show is for you. If you are in any way conservative or apolitical, you’re going to be hit over the head, every episode, with how insensitive & wrong you are. The next to the last episode of the series featured Lola Carmichael running to get the support of Maxine Waters. I wanted to love the show & faithfully watched it, but this 1/2 Black, Jewish conservative woman was left feeling not just unrepresented but actually vilified
