Amazing show. Start watching out of curiosity and without looking at the credits, I thought it was a Shonda Rhimes show with a much-better emphasis on a main character. Simone Missick's Judge Lola Carmichael is brilliant as is the extremely-strong supporting cast, buoyed by great writing, engagement of current social topics, witty dialogue, and emotional connection. The interpersonal stories are interesting and engaging, while the inner workings of the Los Angeles (and US) justice system stand front and centre both positively and negatively. A very well balanced offering for network television. One suggestion: Please crossover with network mate S.W.A.T. Missick' and Shemar Moore would be a great combination to see.....
