I found this show to be pretty entertaining - unexpected story elements and plot twists, some topical themes on gender diversity and ethics in business, and an overall feel-good narrative where everything turn out ok at the end. I was surprised to see it rated so low - I read some of the low-rated reviews and gather that people didn’t like the themes in ethics, and found the jokes either too obvious or not to their liking. I’m based in Australia - the show didn’t seem politically far-left or racist to me.
