I devoured the book. This movie was awful. It was surface writing. They didn't dig deep at all. The writers took the concept of the book and took the key points with no content. I dont understand how people who didnt read the book would know what was going on at all. I got whiplash with cut scenes so fast without context. The sex scene with Cathy and Chris. . Like seriously. She did not kiss him first or willing lay down with him. No. This movie was awful.
