Not only did James insult the BTS ARMY by feeding the stereotypes and generalizations of us, but James also insulted every young female that could've been watching his unfunny monologue. ARMY is one of the most diverse fandoms in the world, ranging in race, nationality, gender, age, etc., but have been belittled to hormonal screaming teenagers for too long. But for the sake of it, let's say ARMY truly was just a bunch of 15 year old girls. So what? Does that take away from how amazing, intelligent, and hardworking ARMY is? Does that take away from the charities we've participated in, causes we've supported, and amount of love we have for BTS's music and message? Why is a young female seen as an insult? Right after BTS made an incredible speech at the UNGA about youth and the next generation, James decided to insult and belittle the females of the next generation? These "15 year old girls" you're using as the butt of your jokes will grow up to lead this world and do incredible things, and I hope you'll be able to see it.
