The business of a Conclave and the descriptive characteristics of the Cardinals whose duty is to select the next Pope are all fascinating. There is little danger that you would compare it to a secular election, but there are moments when you might. Some readers were quite disappointed with the ending - I was quite delighted.

I think I've been waiting for this book all of my 70 years.
