I am thoroughly disappointed with this book. I started reading it with a lot of enthusiasm and high expectations. But realized that the chapters contain no new material, other than what is already available on the internet. I doubt if the author interviewed Novak even once while researching for this book. Whenever he quotes Novak, it is from some online interviews which are in YouTube and have been viewed by millions already. I learned nothing new from the chapters. The author perhaps made a trip to the bunker where the Djokovic family would hide during bombing and the neighborhood where Novak spent his childhood. But other than that he seems to have made no effort to include any original material in his book.
I will not recommend this book to anyone. If you are a Nole fan, there's nothing new for you here. If you are not a fan, even then you will hardly get any idea about the GOAT of tennis from reading this book. Because the author lacks clarity. Even after borrowing all the materials from the internet, the author has failed to present them in a coherent manner and illustrate his point.
This should not be called a book. It is nothing more than a badly written term paper.
