Wrong equipment, not clearing the site of locals, trying the door of suspicious car with only basic police uniforms being worn, people watching from glass windows in nearby flats, playing hard rock at the loudest level and all this before a robot is used!!!!!!! This is a very amateur start to something that was billed as being the next Line of Duty Hope it gets better No it didn't get any better - It got worse. Let all the locals back in before we investigate an unchecked van and then Yawn Yawn we get the totally expected Line of Duty format of a star actor being killed off in ep 1

I was really looking forward to this thriller, probably on the basis of believing it was going to be a case of Vigil in a Tower Block scenario. However, by the time the first episode had grinded to a halt I was losing the will for any more episodes. My main complaint was the endless use of flashbacks which happened so quickly that any character build up was stifled and and names and new characters just blended into a haze as everything just flitted about in a patchwork of past times and places.

I really enjoyed this drama, and like Death in Paradise the sunny locations made a welcome change from the cold and damp of a November evening. It was also good to see Robin Asquith get a good little acting gig. It might not be The Vigil, or In the Line of Duty, but it's all very harmless where you can sit back, enjoy the scenery, the characters and not have to worry about how real dramas have to be. I do hope Ch5 give this a second series as along with All Creatures Great and Small it could grow in popularity
