Truly bad. Lot's of "filler" with overly long and incongruous scenes that are irrelevant to the story and do little for character development. Julia Roberts truly obnoxious. Minimal special effects with one bad CGI deer, in the most laughable scene of the movie. Ridiculous time wasting scene with K. Bacon. Not sure how we got sucked in to watching the whole thing but I think it was because we thought that there was an alien tie-in. There wasn't.
