I have watched Meet the Press for probably 40+ years and I have not seen a moderator get beat up as much as I have in the last few weeks. I like Kristen Welker but she has not as forceful as she should have been. She is not in control of the conversations and she spends way too much time on the wrong guests. Apparently she is not ready for prime time. Especially in an election year. I would to give some examples. On todays ABC show with George (please review) he consistently shot back at JD Vance with "Please answer the question" or " You did not answer the question". Kristen did not challenge the Speaker once except to just repeat the question. She spent too much time with Jake Sullivan asking questions he did not necessarily have updated answers to. With the Speaker she allowed him to continue spewing Trump propaganda and trying to speak over him. One question she never asked was if you want to fund Israel do you also want to fund Ukraine. Why not. When Chuck retired I decided for the first time in my life to also review the other political talk shows and find their standards are now much higher than Meet the Press. Tim Russet would never had lost control of today's conversations. You spend too much time talking Biden's ratings when you should be looking at Meet the Press rating of 1.8 out of 5.0
