Just watched this tear-jerking film yesterday. As a fan of Whitney since 80s, I cried three times for her tragic experience. In my mind, simply looking for a cast with similar appearance as Whitney is a bit shallow. Naomi Ackie acts superbly with her facial expression and mannerism. She should have spent a lot of time reading about Whitney before accepting her role. I have no complaint about her lip-sync in the film. Considerble computer graphics helps to depict Whitney's memorable concerts or occasions. My final thoughts: 1. What if Whitney does not fall for Bobby Brown? 2. What if she strictly abides to the teachings of the Bible? 3. What if she appoints a professional agent instead of her money thirsty dad?
