So far I have watched a few of the episodes and in contrast, have seen a lot of reviews on it for its opening day on Netflix. To be honest I was taken aback by them. I have seen a lot of people giving it flack for being bland, rushed, boring, and with no interactions, and very much for the acting... Well here are my thoughts. I think that if you're going into this show as a nitpicker, or as an OG fan. It probably didn't turn out like what you expected, which as an OG fan myself I can understand to a degree however, I for one don't think of these flaws as horrible as critics and some may say. To get the main strong point that everyone agrees with out of the way, yes I loved the CGI, the CGI bending is brilliantly portrayed and done to the right degree to the original show. Going forward, however, is where I have noticed a few differences of opinion. I for one think the characters and their acting are on point. I will admit it's 100% better than the movie yet not even close to where the original show is. However, It's still well done and on key. The actors do try to portray their characters in a good light key ones to point out are Sokka, Iroh, and Aang. I especially like the direction of Sokka and Aang's character development. However, for a select few, where it could've been done better, characters like Zhao and Azula did feel a little underwhelming its not to say they were the worst thing possible, just that they could do better. The locations are represented very well, you could honestly mistake them for being real locations in the world. They felt very life-like and on point with the original show's locations. The creatures are very nicely well done, you could tell the creators wanted to do their absolute best to capture each creature in the world of TLA and I can say without a doubt they succeeded. Now the biggest point I see complaints with is the story. Some have said it's bland others rushed... Me I think it's the best it could be done. people need to remember while the show had a high budget Netflix did hit it with some restrictions, one being an episode limit. There is only so much you can do with so few episodes which is why some aspects were cut out. So it was obvious not everything was going to fit, but the creators also wanted to try new things as they explained in their analysis of their trailer on IGN's channel. And for what it's worth, I like the changes, they flow very well if you choose to look at this show as something new rather than trying to desperately compare it to the original. It hits pretty well and touches what I think were the right key moments in book 1 however I will be fair and say it can be a little clunky at times and could have had a little better flow if Netflix had given them a little more lenience. At the end of the day, I think that this show while not perfect does an absolutely good job and while I may give it 5 stars if I could I would say a 4.5 out of 5. I will say without a doubt there's room to improve and plenty of it. Nothing is perfect but things get better especially if you give them a chance and have an open mind. But hey I'm just another person writing a review so what do I know heh :3

I had just finished the game on normal and ok holy cow I have so much to say. But to sum it all up. I love this game. Metroid Dread was defiently a refresher that is Metroid enthusiasts needed, it’s a wonderful take back into the 2-D world of Metroid but from a console that runs 3-D. I really like how well balanced and precise the controls are and how they allow you to take the actions you need whether it’s simply defeating creatures, retrivung items or getting through the stealth parts. Speaking of those I really have to say the stealth lives up to the expectations I immediately felt a wave of nostalgia hit me from my favorite 2-D Metroid game, fusion, cause the stealth parts made me feel like I was back on that station hiding from SA-X. It got my blood pumping and my heart racing. I will also say I really enjoyed the story, learning more not only about the s history but more about there connection to Samus (won’t spoil for those who have not played.) Without saying too much this game is a definite charm and classic and is perfect for those who are new to the series or are familiar with it since day 1. The only complaint I have about it, would have to only be the stealth zones… now it’s more of a nit pick on my part than anything else so it’s more of a personal thing, I did feel like at times the stealth parts got a little annoying but that was mostly cause of the pathing of the enemies, but that’s just me. Anyways this game overall deserves its 5 stars and I hope you guys will give it an honest shot cause in my mind it’s worth it

Even though I am the first I do want to give my honest opinion about this game. After watching a youtuber who did a playthough of this game Chugga I wanted to play it myself and got to play the old version on my 3ds but playing this here on the switch was incredible I love the update graphics as it adds so much to the beauty of the game then ever before. Like before the characters are memorable the whole way through but the addition of facial expressions actiosn they preform in the menu or even giving you the ability to pick how the characters should be dressed gives you a huge varity and it feels very good being able to do that. The story for me in Xenoblade 1 is excellent no doubts about it and despite what some people thought I did enjoy the extra story segment, without spoiling to much I say I found myself enjoy Melia and Shulk a whole lot more than before with how it adds to the bond the two share and it really develops some familiar characters, even provides insight on some of the cast from the game of how they are handling themselves in the future. I will say the one thing I kinda hate was the fact that with the soundtrack during certain cutscenes the music was removed which I do not follow why... prehaps a bug or something? and yeah the enemies feel a little tougher than before but despite those knit picks I love this game and still give this edition 5 stars.

I think this is an underrated game in the series. I can understand some peoples problems with it but honestly it felt nice to take a new stab at a sonic rpg series and honestly it was a very successful one. If given the chance I’m sure BioWare could’ve improved on so many things in a sequel. The combat though simple was really nice and really integrates the ds touch screen and actually is strategic if looked at carefully. Like I said think it was an awesome Sonic rpg game and really wished a sequel was made. Another underrated game that only just now gets acknowledgement

Ok having just finished watching the movie I honestly have to give this a 5 star but with some understandable feedback. I will say I am not a full fan of mortal kombat as I had only gotten recently which was about 8 months ago and despite not being a huge fan of gore I have grown fond of it myself. Looking over the games and seeing initial thoughts on the past movies it was clear some peoples worries were over the last mortal kombat movie. However I am proud to say that I believe this movie has lived up to the standards I think true fans of the games have been wanting for so long. To start out with, I want to start out with the presentation. Now irl videogame movies have not exactly had a great history... at least until recently with movies such as Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog giving rise and hope to video game movies in the future. So that being said of course some people were skeptical after hearing mortal Kombat was getting another IRL movie... and considering how poorly the last few ones did... people were skeptical... but after the very first trailer, sparks of hope arose, me personally having seen the trailer... heck yeah was I excited. The actually fighting in the movie honestly was flat out incredible, each character had there own different styles of fighting which honestly is a good representation of the videogames themselves. Each character in the series has always had their own style of fighting and bringing in a mixed martial artist like Lewis tan during the behind-the-scenes trailer he explained how he had come from a fighting background outside of the movie. Now aside from that, each fight scene that happened in it, both short or long, training or the real thing was flat out incredible. The way the characters moved and the way they were portrayed was nothing short of spot on to the real thing and as Lewis tan who again in his behind the scenes, part explained that to him real martial arts is like acting in a sense of expression and being someone who had been in a martial arts for over 5 years I can definitely agree with his opinion on this. The special effects as well that some of them came with such as Kabals speed or Lui Kangs fire abilities were very well created and definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. The establishment of the characters some argue was poorly thought out, to be honest I am leaning more towards arguing this. Heres my reasons while I admit that characters such as Kabal were kinda just thrown in there and weren't really established as well as some wanted it, most of the characters we know well were honestly fitting for the personality we see in the games whether the bad guys or good guys. Now I want to address the elephant in the room, the 1 star reviewers calling this movie a piece of garbage.... I apologize if you did not find this movie to your liking or that you decided to just devolve to simple matters but your reasons for one star are flat our ridiculous and to be honest are about as poor as some of IGN's recent reviews of videogames as of lately. Your reasoning for calling it trash is very foolish. For example some of you say that this movie did horrible because of the lore. While I understand the reason to roast it, roasting it for that fact alone is poor on your part. While the story I admit could use some very very big fix ups I definitely thought the elements behind it were very well thought out and while it may not have been tournament style I honestly could care less. I found myself very interacting with it and I think as far as Im concerned it succeded where no other one could and that's my final say.
