Good show which I enjoyed very much. Apart from the usual misrepresentation of London at the time. I grew up in London in the 50s & 60s and I can assure today’s audience that white youngsters did NOT mix socially with the recent black immigrants who were a tiny minority in the country. It wasn’t that we were racist but that our worlds did not collide. We didn’t think about them in a negative way but our life just didn’t interact with theirs. But what can you expect from the BBC but another example of brainwashing to convince today’s youngsters that England, especially London, has always been multicultural and diverse, believe me it hasn’t.
