4.5 stars if I could. Obi-Wan is heartfelt and human. A man, once powerful, is terrified that his past will come back to haunt him. It’s not a matter of if — it’s a matter of when. And that time has finally come. Darth Vader is as terrifying as ever. More than he was in any other live-action entry save Rogue One. Young Leia is destined for the Rebellion and we are only getting to know the other supporting characters. The series is beautifully shot and Ewan McGregor has earned his spot as the definitive Obi-Wan. Is this a great series? That remains to be seen. But it’s doing a damn good job at telling a story. And I, for one, am here for it.
