I read some Mr. Baldacci's series, like Memory Man, Camel Club, 6:20 man, John Puller, and Will Robie (my ultimate fave) but I can say this one is not really my favorite.
I read Archer after finishing both 6:20 man series, the difference in pace was truly felt.
It felt dragged on the first chapters, slow and boring, I'm sorry but i skipped several paragraphs and pages but even after that, the story lost no plot and still can be followed.
The interesting parts came after Shaw got re-hospitalized, that's when finally I can feel the style of Mr. Baldacci that I like.
But maybe Archer will grow on me in 2nd book, idk. We'll see.
