If movies are to make you feel & experience...This one works. Unfortunately for anyone who grew up in or around an abusive environment, the realism here is terrifying, maybe triggering. After watching this movie I felt like I had been hit and then run over (repeatedly) by a truck. Brilliant movie and acting, but not necessarily an easy and wonderful film to watch.
