I haven't quite decided whether this is a game for kids (graphically and difficulty-wise) or adults (the theme, some of the language or the sheer sad melancholy of it all; just the main title screen piano paints the picture). It is however excellent and somewhat compelling with lots of different elements to it; some resource management, some crafting, some platform and puzzles, some discovering. Good plot, funny scripting in places, and very likeable characters. I certainly look forward to playing it to the end. NB did they steal the sound in the Improve Building screen from FF7? Even that seems a nostalgic nod in a game essentially about the nostalgia of life.
