Loved it. My favorite BL series. I felt there were genuine moments of feeling, and the sadness moved me more than any other BL. I liked the reincarnation aspect and the intertwining fates of the characters. For me, it was some of the best acting in BL that I have found so far. I recently discovered BL. I am not ashamed to say that I cried multiple times. I also like that at least some of the actors are gay. Looking forward to the sequel.

It is tragic that this series was censored, banned and suppressed by the government, and that the actors were professionally oppressed by the authorities. I shows that there is still a long way to go yet to ensure LGBT rights worldwide. Even here in America, we're waiting on the passage of the Equality Act. As for the series itself, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors were excellent, and it offered a look at this part of Chinese society. I only had reservations about the issues of consent and force. If there had been no censorship on how they were able to present the main relationship...what might more have been? Definitely recommended. Wish we could see more.
