It's hard to live up to a great original movie. I often feel it's best to just leave well enough alone. How many remakes of Fast N Furious are they up to now? Why? After all these years, I wondered the same about Top Gun. Why? Perhaps it took 36 years to come up with a plot and script worthy of the original. I think the plot and script is as good as the original. If this movie was what we saw in 1986, I think it would have had the same appeal and reaction as the original movie did. It is a very good movie, but in my opinion, it is missing that first time seeing it effect. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating.

I'm getting somewhat bored with the Marvel movies. They all seem about the same, just a different villian. I did like the comic relief and seeing the guest star cast members. Overall, it was just OK for me.
