I love it. It feels like you’re with an old friend you trust. I love that they have the same basic opening as the original. While Discovery is good it is somewhat dark but I still enjoy it and have hope for its future. Every time I hear them say a name from the past (Nurse Chapel, Uhura, etc) I like this show even more because it feels familiar and connects to a past I am familiar with. Of the 3 (Discovery-Picard-ASNW) I prefer ASNW first, Discovery second and Picard last. I watch Picard because I desperately want to like it but it is so far removed from Star Trek that I have to ‘fast-forward’ watch it. I have hope for it too mostly because of the actors in it and my love of Star Trek-NG and Enterprise. Star Trek-ASNW is by far my favorite.
