Was really disappointed with this movie. I wanted to like it but the whole thing made me cringe. At first I already thought the idea was kind of weird. But when I watched it, I couldn’t believe how crude and mature the humor was at times. Lacked the warm, family values we love so much with Disney. Instead supported children lying to their parents and sneaking around in order to “be themselves”. That’s absurd. I was/am not comfortable with my three year old watching this, in case he learns bad lessons from it. It felt like something dreamworks would put out, NOT Disney. Incredibly disappointed and hope Disney listens to its fans in not producing more films like this. Go ahead and retire the makers for our sake. I understand you can’t win them all, just let this be a lesson, Disney. You’re going to lose an insane amount of following if you begin putting out movies like this.
