Mike Frenkel

I like Billy Crystal, bur he is an awful dramatic actor. Walking around, saying nothing, with your mouth open does not convey shock or confusion. The story line is slow paced but the cutaways are frenetic. I know they’re trying to build towards a wow ending connecting the life of the kid to the shrink’s childhood trauma, but at this point I just don’t care.

One of the best written, best acted, best directed and produced stories I have ever watched on the small or big screen.

This is one of the most disjointed, pretentious, amateurish, shallow movies I’ve ever endured. Had I been able to watch it in a theatre, I would have walked out. I like Spike Lee, but this film is a disaster.
